The Rain held off

I woke up at 6 am this morning and turned on the Weather Channel to see a nice green blob hovering over Tallahassee. It looked like the heavy stuff wouldn't hit us so I decided to go ahead with the pour for the footers. Then I said a quick prayer for some assurance.
God heard me. There was a few light sprinkles but that was it.

The pump truck arrived and set up for the pour.

The crew did a great job. I am really impressed with the work that these guys are doing on the foundation. I was sweating there for a while wondering if the last truck would be enough.Turns out that we ordered three trucks (30 cubic yards) and we were just right. We used all the concrete and had none to spare. So that's green...right??

Plus I had the trucks washout near the driveway. Usually that leaves a large chunk of watered down concrete but I broke it up with a shovel and spread it over the driveway. So that's green..right??

Finally, we were able to keep all the trucks on the driveway and avoid compacting any dirt under the tree canopies. So that's green ...right?
